“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”
―Ann Landers Offences will come; we cannot hide away from it. People will disappoint and hurt us, people so close to us, even our family members, it’s inevitable. We as humans will always face hurt or anger all the time in our lives, can you imagine harbouring all of that in our hearts (I can just see our hearts screaming out, “Please remove all the waste from me”). We have to understand the importance of living an abundant life, a life without worries or stress, a life where we can easily shrug off any offences that come our way. The ability to handle offences that we face in life will determine the direction of your life. God will only promote you to the level of tolerance of pain you can handle. If you can’t handle the pain you will lose the promotion designed for your life. Imagine a CEO, do you think they attained that position just by the click of their fingers, let me tell you they had to go through a lot pain, hurt, stress, disappoint, and worries to get to where they are now, but one thing they did not do is allow all those negative things get them. They are able to handle it, by not letting it affect them and simply letting it go. So if in this moment you have anything disturbing your heart, bothering you; it can be anything that happened years ago and literally just happened 5 minutes before reading the post, PLEASE LET IT GO, LEAVE IT IN YOUR PAST & MOVE ON! Let’s not allow our history abort our destiny, LET IT GO! I want to leave you with this verse from the Bible; Matthew Chapter 5 vs 5 “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth”, please understand the words in this verse; this is God’s promise to us. Trust in him and let go of all your worries. God loves you and I love you too. I rarely talk about my outfits these days, but I am going to change that now starting from this post. The good thing about letting go is that you don’t have to do much. I sort of applied that to today’s look, I was not trying too hard, however I do love the combination of colours and prints going on, might not be your cup of tea, but I absolutely love this look.
