Hey Guys
As the graduation gowns have been worn with pride and the hat flown in the air to celebrate years of hard work and dedication as well as welcoming a new chapter in life, I will like to use this opportunity to congratulate the latest graduates in town. I used this weekend to reflect on my journey after graduating with an LLB Law degree in 2013; and moment of such is worth sharing and reflecting upon with my dear friend Comfort (aka hairbycomfy). Over a plate of rice, beef stew with ripe fried plantain and cool cucumber; we discussed our decisions after law degree. It has been a year of great accomplishments as I secured a job in the legal sector and Comfort completes her LPC at University of Law. I will like to leave you all with the best advice I received as a graduate and my experience in integrating into the professional world. Rejection is inevitable but persistence is key! Right guys! Back to the outfit details... I really was wanted to explore wearing more bold colours. And here is my take on this look. I hope your guys enjoy this post. And don't forget to check out my video of this look. Outfit Details Bralet- Topshop Trouser- Primark Heels- Primark Ring- H&M Clutch- Zara Comfort's Outfit Dress- ASOS Arm cuff- Primark. It has come to that point in my life, where I am starting to establish and understand my priorities in life and the things that are really important. My list is as follows: Family, Happiness and Success. Over the past week at work, I just felt so unhappy and couldn't be bothered with work anymore. I honestly felt like I was wasting my time, and this really frustrated me. And to top it all off, my manager was giving me a hard time. This did not help at all, to the point where I thought I was going to loose my job. I felt so confused, so what do you do? I turned to no one other than my father in heaven, and poured out my heart out to him. Looking back now, I can just imagine GOD laughing at me saying, "this girl has no idea what I have install for her" Lo and behold what happens the week after, I turn up to work feeling refreshed and positive, only to be handed a letter. With it stating that I HAD BEEN PROMOTED!!!!!!!! WHO GETS PROMOTED IN JUST 2 MONTHS OF WORKING AT THE FIRM!!! I seriously can't get over the love God has for me, when you humble yourself and trust in God, believe me he will exalt you. My father has always told me; let YOUR HARD-WORK AND INTELLIGENCE DO THE TALKING FOR YOU. I am so so so happy and excited to start my new job tomorrow, Corporate Lawyer in the making! Have a lovely week guys, I love you all and I thank you all for the support and love. God Bless Chichi Caramel. Can I just start by saying what an amazing time I had at the Wireless Festival, it was absolutely fantastic. I am so happy that I got to have this experience and just live in the moment. Right lets get into the detailed events of the day, well my friends and I had already planned out our timetable for the festival to make sure we got see the artists we wanted to see. We started off with Foxes, she was such a good performer. It was just a shame that I didn't know the words to some of her songs lol! Then the show got really interesting when miss Iggy Azalea came on stage, that woman is so beautiful and she performed so well. Not to forget her back-up dancers who were super amazing and sexy on stage (got me feeling to be a back-dancer as well) I have to say, I really wasn't expecting much from Tinie Tempah, but boy did he win me over with his performance. He got the crowd going and I almost lost my voice from all the screaming and shouting. He was such a good performer. Tinie definitely won my heart, now I have this crazy crush on him (blushes). Pharrell was just breathtaking, he is the sweetest and most beautiful person ever, I loved how he got people from the crowd on stage to dance and perform with him. Shame I wasn't to close to the front stage to get picked by Pharrell to come on the stage. I just love him, he definitely made my evening. Kanye West was also good, but he is such a diva!!! I can't get over how amazing my experience was, will definitely be going to more festivals after this. I had such a great time with my friends and met lots of crazy lovely people. I have definitely learnt, that it always good to come out of your comfort zone and try new experiences, you get to make new lovely memories. I will truly cherish this experience for a very long time.
