“Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right”- Henry Ford
Please guys, I will like for you take a moment to read and absorb the quote above. It might mean different things to different people. For today’s post, I want to discuss what this quote means to me. For those of us who don’t know who Mr Henry Ford is, he is the founder of Ford Motor Company, one of the biggest auto mobile brands in our today. You might ask why I am talking about this man. Well, Mr Ford shows a great deal of self belief; I can just imagine Mr Ford making that decision ‘I KNOW I CAN’. He indeed made the right decision; it just goes to show the power of self-belief. Self-belief is something you develop from the inside, it’s a power that everyone in this world was born, unfortunately most of us are very unaware of this power. Here are my four guides to develop this great super power of self-belief; I. Change and Development of Character You need to start by changing all your not so good habits, develop your strengths within your character and develop an action plan to move forward and change. II. Work on bringing your goals to fruition You can achieve anything you want, this is the truth. I believe in all of you, so if I do without knowing all you personally, what stops you from believing in yourself and your capabilities. Stop wasting your time on self doubt and get working, let’s bring these goals to fruition. III. Making it happen Now we’ve gotten rid of the horrible habit, self doubt, and we are now have the right mind set. This is the perfect time to make things happen. Be confident, this might mean you start emailing certain people who you think can help you in moving forward (I do this every day, I spend at least 30mins everyday emailing people for advice, tips and guidance- it is a good practice). I know it’s easier said than done, but when you make the effort and move forward, develop and grow as a person, your energy levels change and you start to attract different types of people, that will in turn take you to your a goal. IV. Step out of your comfort zone It takes courage to overcome ones habitual pattern, for me I feel God had to shake things up in my life in order for me to step out of my comfort zone. I find that humans can be complacent (I am guilty of this), but think of it, if Mr Thomas Edison was complacent with life, we will not have electricity today, imagine a world without electricity (not good). I talk from personal experience when I say that, every time I have stretched myself and moved out of my comfort zone, I have had successful outcome. Be positive and keep that winning attitude. I hope you guys have enjoyed today’s post; I love and believe in you all.
